Oreo Balls

Throughout the day I check out many different blogs but one blog that I have read for a while is Undressed Skeleton. She has so many different recipes and all of her pictures are so bright and colorful. Yesterday she had a recipe for BoooOreo Balls and I knew I had to try them out. My bf loves oreos so I thought I would surprise him with a yummy treat. Now these by all means are not healthy but they ended up perfect:)

What you will need
1 package of double stuffed oreos
1/4 cup cream cheese
milk chocolate chips
vanilla icing
2 tbsp of water

Start by scraping out the filling of the oreos with a knife.

Then get to cruchin.... I felt like I got a workout by just doing this.

Then mix your filling and cream cheese.

To make it mix better I put in the microwave for about 30 seconds.

Then mix everything together. (filling/cream cheese and crunched oreos)

Roll mixture into balls and put on wax paper and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

Then melt your chocolate chips. (It is easiest to just do it in the microwave)

Then roll your balls into the milk chocolate to cover the outside.

Then add the vanilla icing to the top and let sit till hardened.

Then enjoy your tasty oreo balls!! I think this is the first dessert that actually turned out good!!!

Thanks  Undressed Skeleton!!

New Workout!

I wanted to start off with my dinner last night. If you are ever looking for a healthy, quick inexpensive dinner then this is exactly what you need. Stop by your local grocery store and pick up some romaine lettuce, a rotisserie chicken, reduced fat sharp cheddar cheese and low fat yogurt Cesar dressing. It is very low in fat and calories but still leaves you completely satisfied. You also have enough for leftovers so I can't wait to enjoy again at lunch today.

After work tonight I plan to go to the gym. I was going to go this morning but I find myself getting into a funk so I think I need to head to the gym for a long workout.

I plan on starting out with the treadmill:
3 miles

Then end with 20 minutes on the bike!

I am ready to sweat out this funky mood I have been in lately.

How do you get out of your funky moods?

Day 19 recommit:
Breakfast: skip
Snack: skip
Lunch: 2 eggs
Snack: non fat yogurt
Dinner: Grilled chicken salad

Day 20 recommit:
Breakfast: 2 eggs with hot sauce
Snack: 25 almonds

Snack: spagetti squash with no sugar marinara
Dinner: verde chicken soup

Clemson VS. FSU

On Saturday a group of us piled up in the bf's, sister's husbands truck and headed to Clemson. The weather was not looking good but we were all still excited to tailgate all day. Whenever we got there it had already begun to rain a little but ended up not being too bad.
But by the look of my hair it looks like it poured. Hello flatness!

Thank goodness it cleared up.

We all stood around snacking and chatting till the game started!

Of course food is a very important part of tailgating.

The little one's newest outfit:)

We asked all the guys if we could change one of the tv's to Lifetime. Clearly that never happened. ha

Of course we had to have corn hole even though I am absolutely horrible at it.

Towards the end of the night it was freezing and they were losing pretty bad so we left at halftime.

But nothing prepared us for the 4 hours of traffic we got stuck in. I guess since they were losing so bad we weren't the only ones with the idea to leave at halftime.

Sunday needless to say I watched Lifetime all day curled up in my warmest blanket in my most comfiest sweats.

Day 18 recommit:
Breakfast: 2 medium eggs with sugar free syrup
Snack: 25 almonds
Lunch: Cheesy turkey sausage and broccoli soup
Snack: red and green peppers, spinach, walnuts, small amount of feta, ham and hummus
Dinner: cheesy rotel chicken casserole
