This was a really great weekend!! It was full of laughter, family, friends and plenty of food.
My future sister and law and her hubby were throwing a Memorial Day party so I decided to make something Patriotic. You have no idea, I love to cook but I can't bake. For once it was a success.
While we all got ready for the party we took turns having Ryder time.
Isn't he adorable!!!
“Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices.” – President Harry S. Truman
As people arrived we sat out all the appetizers and
everyone started chatting and playing the different games.
(I barley saw the future hubby, he loves corn hole)
All the men.....
but this one is the best looking one!!
Then all the ladies and this cute little fellar.
After we snacked on the appetizers, we all watched the kids play
and some of us even joined in on the playing.
Then me and this cutie had to take some selfies.
This picture kills me.
We clearly had a blast.
Another little cutie.....they were everywhere :)
Too cool for school!!!
After everyone worked up an appetite we all gathered together and filled our plates.
Nothing beats being with family and friends on a Holiday.
Thank you to all that have served and who are still serving. Words can't express how grateful we are for each and every one of you!!
