Friday night the bf and I headed to Greenville to the Melting Pot for dinner for a friends birthday. I was so excited because I had never been . When we got there we met up with our friends and started having a great time.
The table started with all the yummy dips, bread, fruit and veggies. I stuck with just snacking on the Granny Smith apples, my favorite.
Love this girl. With everything cooking in front of us, it got a bit smoky.
I was so amazed with how the food came out. I didn't know that you actually cooked your own meat. I of course got the chicken.
The birthday boy, his wife and ones of his friends.
Doesn't that look yummy?
We then all started cooking our meat. We had to remember what color we were so we didn't end up eating something that wasn't cooked long enough. Chicken only had to be cooked for 2 mins. I was amazed.
The lovely couple!
After we stuffed our bellies with so many different types of food, it was dessert time. This I just had to watch. I knew if I had one bite I would eat the whole bowl of white chocolate.
The Bf, me and Georgie
Then it was birthday cake time!!
Afterwards we all went outside to of course take some picture and hangout.
As we were outside I noticed this awesome dance studio that was next door and my friend said that we should go in and check it out because she had taken classes there before. So we go in and sit down and watch the dancers for a little while. Then the rest of the group joined us. Everyone started looking at us odd, so I said that I didn't think we were supposed to be in there and that we should leave. So I got up to leave and as I was doing so......
. Our song (kind of :) ) came on and everyone started looking at me as Shaun got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was completely shocked that I didn't believe that it was actually happening. I of course said yes and I went around screaming and hugging everyone with excitement. Then Georgie came in with glasses of champage to celebrate and Shaun handed me a single rose (which I love). I had no clue that everyone was in on it and thank you to all of you for making this a night to remember. This was the perfect proposal and I can't wait to become....
Mrs. Shaun Brown.
